Philippines Attends 2nd Asian Sports Ministers Meeting in Tehran
Philippine Sports Commission Chairman
Harry C. Angping represented the Philippines in the 2nd
Asian Sports Ministers Meeting held at Esteghlal Hotel, Tehran from
04 to 07 May 2009.
Iranian Vice-President and Physical
Education Organization Head Mohd Ali Abadi steered the conduct of
the event which aimed to expand sports ties across Asia.
Commissioner Angping was joined by
Philippine Ambassador to Tehran Generoso S. Senga in the Philippine
panel.
Thirty-countries like Afghanistan,
Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, Cyprus,
India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kyrgykistan, Hongkong, Lebanon,
Maldives, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Nepal, North Korea, South
Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka,
Syria, Tajiskitan, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam participated in
